Is the Roblox avatar render free?

Yes. Loading an avatar, styling it and saving the PNG are free with no account. Only the optional step of turning it into a full thumbnail in LaunchLens uses credits, and new accounts get free credits to try it.

Where does the avatar picture come from?

From Roblox itself. We look up the username on Roblox's public servers and load the same avatar picture Roblox shows on that player's profile, wearing whatever they have on right now. The outline, glow and layout are added in your browser.

Can I get my Roblox avatar as a transparent PNG?

Yes. Pick Cutout under Save as and you get just the avatar on a clear background, cropped to its edges, ready to drop into any editor. Thumbnail gives you a 1280 x 720 picture and Profile pic a 1024 x 1024 square, each with the background you picked or a clear one.

Is this a Roblox GFX maker?

It covers the quick kind of GFX: your real avatar with an outline, a glow and a colour background, in thumbnail or profile picture size. It does not pose the avatar or build a 3D scene in Blender. For a full scene around your avatar, the Roblox thumbnail maker can do that from a short description.

Can I put two avatars in one picture?

Yes. After the first avatar loads, type a second username and press Add. They stand side by side, facing each other, which works for VS, noob vs pro and 1v1 thumbnails. Flip either one with its Flip button.

Why can't it find my avatar?

Check the spelling of the username (not the display name). If you just changed your outfit, Roblox can take a minute to draw the new picture, so try again shortly. Banned accounts don't show up.

Do you store the username or the picture?

No. The avatar picture loads straight from Roblox into your browser, and the picture you save never leaves your device.

What makes an avatar pop on a thumbnail?

A thick white outline is the classic Roblox GFX look for a reason: it lifts the avatar off any background, even a busy game screenshot, and it still reads at phone size. Use black on a light background.

Bust works best for a reaction or a profile picture, because the face fills more of the frame. Full body fits a VS picture or a noob vs pro, where the outfits are the point.
